The mission of the Smyrna Youth Football and Cheerleading Program is to support, encourage and enable youth to benefit from participating in football and cheerleading within a safe and structured environment. Our goal is to teach skills, sportsmanship, fundamentals, teamwork, respect, humility and knowledge that our youth will use throughout their lives.
The Smyrna Spartans Youth Football divisions compete within the NorthWest Georgia Youth Football League (NWGYFL). This organization is home to 19 other programs located throughout northwest Georgia. After a nine game regular season, there will be a Playoff series culiminating into the NWGYFL Super Bowl, where the champion will be determined. The rules and regulations that we follow are written in the NWGYFL Bylaws. More information on the NWGYFL can be found HERE.

Spartan Cheerleaders Take the Silver
(11/8/10) - On November 7th, the Smyna Spartan Cheerleaders participated in the 3rd Annual Cobb County Cheerfest. Our girls worked hard and took the Silver home in this competition spirited competition. Congratulations to all the cheerleaders for a job well done in this and the games all season! We would also like to thank everyone who came out to support the girls!

Welcome Parents! We want to take the time to let you know that your young football players and cheerleaders are very important to us. It is a joy and privilege to be a part of of your child's journey in his or her development. Our goal is to make sure that your child has a positive, fun experience through athletic competition. We wish to build on his or her teamwork, sportsmanship, knowledge, respect and the game of football, which we all love so much.
As a vital part of the Spartan Family, communication is extremely important to us. Please know that our volunteers are easily accessible and are always willing to discuss any issues that may arise. We want to make sure any concerns or questions you have about your child are addressed quickly and smartly. Our volunteers are available via telephone or email and that contact information can be found in the Meet the Volunteers page of this website.

From Turner Field: I-75 North. At I-285, take the I-285 West exit and go to US 41 (Cobb Parkway). Turn Right (North). First light is Spring Rd, Turn Left onto Spring. Turn Left onto Atlanta Rd (Amoco, CVS and Auto Zone on corners). Turn Left at the light after Campbell Middle School, Field is off Campbell Rd.
From NE Atlanta: Take I-285 (you can either try to get onto US 41 at I-75, or) go to the exit past I-75, Paces Ferry and turn right (Toward the Home Depot's white Headquarters building). Turn right at the light at So. Atlanta Rd. Turn Right at the light before Campbell Middle School, Field is off Campbell Rd.
